Assessment of Moraine Cliff Spatio-Temporal Erosion on Wolin Island Using ALS Data Analysis

The aim of the article is to present temporal and spatial variability cliff coast erosion Wolin Island in 2012–2020 three time periods (2012–2015, 2015–2018, 2018–2020). research used data from airborne laser scanning (ALS), based on which DEM models were made. Based differences between models, amount sediment that was eroded by sea waves determined. conducted showed that, analyzed period, dynamics cliffs characterized high variability. greatest observed sandy cliffs, smallest clay are densely covered with vegetation. In budget studies, two seashore erosivity indicators proposed: length-normalized (LB) (m3/m) area-normalized (AB) (m3/m2). average annual edge found be LB = 6.6 ± 0.3 m3/m/a, AB 0.17 0.01 m3/m2/a. results obtained comparable other postglacial cliffs. use differential analysis allows for determination may development planning protection zones.
